amBX The Smart Building Podcast!

We have launched our very own podcast series, and as the name would suggest, it is about all things smart buildings.

In 2020, only 17% of companies are presently operating smart building policies and, of these, 22% indicate they will increase the budget allocated to smart building technologies over the next three years.*

There is also evidence that smart capabilities tangibly add to buildingsโ€™ rental and asset values, and official commentators are of the view that buildings that do not convert to smart may become obsolete and radically depreciate in value.*

In addition, buildings globally account for 40% of energy consumption and over a third of carbon emissions!*

Demand for smart buildings has never been higher

The podcast aims to appeal to every audience within the smart building supply chain, encouraging collaborations and partnerships that deliver optimal, sustainable solutions for both new and old buildings and ultimately create the very best buildings for end-users.

We will interview industry experts, key stakeholders and knowledgeable players every week, covering all aspects of a smart building. We want this to be an engaging, educational tool that inspires creative thinking within the industry.

As a company, we want to drive positive change globally - meeting the needs for net-zero carbon, asset management, preventative maintenance and beyond.

Series 1 will cover:

  • The Role of Smart Lighting in Commercial Buildings

  • BIM technology - the foundation of a smart building

  • The Power of Data Analytics

  • The Importance of Sleep for Employee Health and Wellbeing

  • Smart Care Homes - Benefits for Elderly Residents

New content will be launched every Tuesday at 8 am, and it is available on most audio platforms.

We welcome listener feedback; if you have any topics you would like us to cover, you have any questions you'd like to send in, or you would like to feature on an episode yourself, please contact us at info@ambx.com

Episodes 1 and 2 are now live, below is a quick overview of each of them. Each episode is a short bitesize chunk; they are 20mins max in length, making them digestible and easy to listen to.

The beauty of podcasts, of course, is that you can be busy getting on with other tasks while listening, so have us on in the background while your working, while you go for a walk, or while you do your ironing - whatever you might be doing we hope to be an easy listen that drives positive ideas at home or at work.
